How good you left that door ajar to send you yarn for X-mas. With my knitting plans, that are still based on the life of a single knitter, and my actual amount of knitting time, I might not be able to finish one or the other knitted object. But we will see )). BTW the Socks That Rock color looks soooo familiar, but I cannot come up with the name either. Rather embarrassing. And congrats on the swap. Both sweater and scarf look amazing. The scarf pattern is on my long long looooong list of “wannado’s”. Sometime in the distant future ))).

I have a front loader too. Throw a pair or two of old jeans in with the item you want to felt. Run the machine on hot with a little soap. That should do the trick.

Hi Ruth,
Of course you would hate it to sell this house straightaway. Firstly it’s too stunningly beautiful, and secondly then you would have to move all your boxes again. LOL
As for deer I saw some too, when I was in Maryland. My NRNK had even two in his back yard, which might be no big deal in your vicinity, but in the middle of 57402 citizens I think it’s remarkable.

I feel so silly – I hadn’t realised you were headed back home so soon, so having missed a few meetings I only met you that once at the bonus snb! That’ll teach me not to keep up my blog reading. I’ll bet it feels good to settle back into life at home though – and that your animals missed you!
Your Asymmetrical jacket is interesting… I like garments with different structural approaches.

sorry, I was so used to the last post and the thought that you have a hard time posting, that I gave up checking )). But now I have tons or rather heaps to read. Great! I LOVE your posts.
And you had me in stitches again, because when I read the sentence “Now that I’ve got the back almost finished….” I already knew what was coming next. And I am sure that you will end up like the sweater very much, like with all your other knittings. But I’d better not jump to conclusions. You might have posted the opposite already. LOL
