Spring vacation

August 18, 2010

I totally forgot to post pictures from our spring trip to Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. I found the folder when I was working on something else — work and moving have been demanding lately — and was pleasantly surprised. So, with no further ado, here’s some pictures I took on our trip:

The iconic lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove.

One of the few places in the world where the earth’s mantle is at the surface.

I have no idea what animal this was from. It was in a the National Park. Could it have been sheep? Do sheep graze in Canadian parks?

And of course, we must close on a knitterly note. No doubt, this mitt was knitted from wool from Briggs and Little in New Brunswick.
